1993 - Named the team's Academic Achievement Award winner for 3.69 grade point average ... played and started all 11 games ... earned first-team all-conference honors for a second straight season ... doubled his awards by being selected as WAC's top retum specialist in voting of conference coaches ... led the WAC and was 10th nationally in punt returns ... retumed 27 punts for 325 yards, 12.0 average ... had 76 tackles including 52 unassisted ... was third on the team and first among defensive backs with his tackle total.
1992 - Earned first-team All-WAC honors as a defensive back in his first year of collegiate competition ... became only the second freshman in WAC history (Niko Noga, Hawaii, in 1980) to earn first-team conference honors ... second on the team with 96 tackles, tops by any defensive back ... top game was I5 stops vs. San Diego State ... also was in double figures with 1O stops at Air Force ... played in 11 games, all as a starter ... missed one game, at LSU, while recovering from concussion suffered week before at Fresno State ... set school's freshmen record with six interceptions ... was second in the WAC in that category ... also led the league and ranked 10th nationally by averaging 11.4 yards per punt retum ... named to All-WAC Academic team with 3.44 grade point average.

Windsor: Considered one of the state's premier all-around athletes ... led Windsor to state playoffs as a senior in 1990 ... played quarterback and defensive back, and also shifted to running back during portions of the past season ... named conference MVP in 1990 in vote by league coaches ... gained 856 yards on 123 carries as a senior, and scored 146 points, which included 17 TD's ... also handled his team's kicking chores, converting 29 point-after attempts, and five field goals ... threw for six touch- downs... returned 12 punts for 21.6 yard average, and 11 kickoffs for 21.3 yard average... as the team's punter, averaged 35 yards on 38 punts ... defensively, he made 97 tackles, 64 unassisted ... also a standout basketball and track athlete ... won the 200-meter race as a senior and was second in the 400-meters ... also won the 100-meter dash as a junior ... in 1989 and 1990 won the pole vault ... was Student Council president, and member of National Honor Society ... coach: Al Lear.
